Clinically Proven Outcomes
Alma platforms are backed by over 25 years of medical engineering, 50+ patents, and more than 230 peer-reviewed clinical studies. Every pulse of energy delivers predictable, safe, and reproducible results.
Why we invested in Alma Lasers — and why Niagara Laser Aesthetic Lounge is built for clients who will not settle for second-best.
At Niagara Laser Aesthetic Lounge, we founded our clinic on a single, uncompromising principle: when it comes to your skin, body, and confidence, you should never settle for second-best.
Many clinics cut corners with generic, low-cost equipment that delivers inconsistent results, requires lengthy recovery times, or carries higher risks of complications. We chose a fundamentally different path. We made the deliberate, multi-million-dollar investment to equip our lounge exclusively with Alma Lasers — the recognized global gold standard in medical-grade aesthetic engineering.
By bringing together Alma’s flagship suite — Alma Hybrid™, Accent Prime™, Harmony™, Soprano Titanium Special Edition, TED™, and IQ™ — under one roof, we provide our clients with clinical efficacy, custom treatment mapping, and luxury patient care that cannot be replicated with ordinary aesthetic devices.

Alma does not rely on single-wavelength technology. By integrating ablative and non-ablative lasers, 40.68 MHz Unipolar Radiofrequency, guided acoustic ultrasound, and high-frequency light, our treatments target multiple layers of tissue simultaneously.
Proprietary safety innovations — such as Super Hair Removal (SHR™) and ICE Plus™ continuous contact cooling — allow us to safely and comfortably treat Fitzpatrick skin types I through VI without compromising efficacy.
Technologies like the HyGrid™ ratio matrix allow us to calibrate your resurfacing depth and thermal tightening, providing aggressive structural rejuvenation with a fraction of traditional recovery times.

Fractional CO₂ & 1570 nm laser resurfacing
Signature treatment protocols
Combines epidermal CO2 resurfacing with deep 1570 nm thermal energy to treat skin laxity, fine lines, and photodamage simultaneously. Expected downtime: 4–7 days of mild redness.
Alma’s patented Pixel Peel™ protocol uses straight CO2 for controlled resurfacing — refining texture, tone, and superficial damage with a calibrated recovery window mapped to your HyGrid™ settings.
Scar protocols can combine CO2 and erbium energy to break down fibrous scar tissue and rebuild healthy dermal scaffolding. Erbium can also be used on its own when a more selective, lighter ablative approach is preferred. Expected downtime: 4–7 days.
A lighter protocol paired with IMPACT™ acoustic delivery — the same European IMPACT fusion technology related to Alma TED™ delivery — to tighten pores, balance uneven tone, and restore radiance with only 1–2 days of recovery.
Overview & clinical mechanism
The Alma Hybrid™ is a versatile platform designed for comprehensive skin resurfacing, deep structural collagen remodeling, and scar revision. It combines ablative CO2 (10,600 nm), non-ablative 1570 nm fiber laser energy, and IMPACT™ ultrasound for deep trans-epidermal serum delivery. Our European Hybrid carries IMPACT fusion — the same family of acoustic delivery technology behind Alma TED™ — so hydrating and restorative compounds can be driven through the pathways created during treatment. With proprietary HyGrid™ mapping, energy ratios are customized to your clinical goals and recovery window.
Straight CO2 on Hybrid also supports Alma’s patented Pixel Peel™ resurfacing and precise lesion work such as skin-tag removal when clinically appropriate. For scars, we can blend CO2 with erbium, or run erbium alone when a more selective ablative pass is the better choice. The ablative channel creates microscopic treatment zones for texture, lines, and scar edges; the 1570 nm channel delivers deeper dermal heat for tightening with less surface disruption.
In the lounge we shape intensity rather than offering one aggressive setting. Hybrid Lift & Smooth typically carries about 4–7 days of social downtime. Lighter HyGrid™ maps polish tone and pores more gently; denser maps are reserved for acne scarring, laxity, and photodamage. The same workstation can serve a first-time resurfacing patient and a more advanced scar-revision plan, with the protocol chosen to the skin, the calendar, and the result that matters most.
Frequently asked questions
Traditional full-field CO2 lasers remove the entire outer layer of skin, requiring up to two weeks of intensive healing. Alma Hybrid™ blends targeted CO2 ablation with gentle 1570 nm non-ablative thermal remodeling, achieving comparable collagen stimulation with significantly less downtime and a lower risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
It treats deep and superficial wrinkles, acne scars, surgical scars, enlarged pores, rough texture, uneven skin tone, sun damage, and skin laxity across the face, neck, and body. Straight CO2 can also be used for Pixel Peel™ resurfacing and, when appropriate, precise removal of skin tags.
IMPACT™ fusion is the European Hybrid’s acoustic delivery system — related to the same trans-epidermal delivery family as Alma TED™. After laser pathways are created, acoustic pressure helps drive restorative serums deeper into the tissue to support recovery and results.
Yes. Scar plans can combine CO2 and erbium, or use erbium on its own when a more selective ablative approach better matches the scar type and downtime goals.
Patient comfort is maintained by applying a topical numbing cream prior to treatment alongside the integrated contact cooling of the ProScan handpiece. Most clients feel only a warm, prickling sensation.
Noticeable textural improvements occur after a single session. For deeper scar revision or comprehensive collagen remodeling, a series of 2 to 3 sessions spaced 8 to 12 weeks apart is recommended.
For Hybrid Lift & Smooth, expect about 4–7 days of moderate redness, mild swelling, and light microscopic crusting resembling a mild sunburn, depending on treatment depth. Lighter protocols recover faster. Normal daily activities can generally be resumed with prescribed gentle aftercare and daily mineral SPF.

Full-body contouring, RF face tightening & fat reduction
Key clinical applications
Overview & clinical mechanism
Alma Accent Prime™ is a workstation for non-invasive contouring across the entire body — plus localized fat reduction, cellulite smoothing, and skin tightening. It integrates guided Ultrasound (US) with patented 40.68 MHz Unipolar Radiofrequency (RF). Ultrasound selectively targets stubborn subcutaneous fat, while deep Unipolar RF delivers sustained volumetric heating that contracts collagen and stimulates new elastin — the tightening engine clients feel in firmer face, neck, and body skin.
That RF tightening is especially valued on the face and around the eyes, where smaller applicators can refine delicate zones without surgery. On the body, the same platform contours abdomen, flanks, thighs, buttocks, arms, and more. Ultrasound addresses volume where fat sits; RF tightens the overlaying tissue and improves the look of cellulite. Energy is delivered from the surface — no incisions, no cannulas, no surgical recovery window.
In the lounge we map applicators to the area rather than offering a single setting. Precise facial tips for the eyes, jawline, and neck; larger body applicators for circumferential zones. A typical plan is a short series of sessions so lymphatic clearance and collagen remodeling continue between visits, with results that keep evolving for weeks after the last treatment.
Frequently asked questions
It emits guided shear ultrasound waves that disrupt the membranes of localized adipocytes (fat cells). Once disrupted, the stored lipids are naturally processed and flushed out through the body’s lymphatic system over the following weeks.
No. The treatment is completely non-invasive and non-surgical. You can immediately return to your normal daily routine, work, or light exercise right after your session.
No. The combination of gradual RF thermal delivery and integrated cooling creates a sensation often compared to a warm, relaxing deep-tissue hot stone massage.
A standard protocol consists of 4 to 6 sessions spaced 7 to 14 days apart. Circumferential loss and skin tightening continue to improve for 8 to 12 weeks following the last treatment.
Yes. Accent Prime works across the entire body for contouring. Specialized applicators safely target delicate facial zones — including tightening around the eyes, jawline, neck, and double chin — as well as large body areas like the abdomen, flanks, thighs, and arms. Radiofrequency is the key modality for that skin-tightening effect.
Yes. Unipolar RF delivers deep volumetric heat that contracts collagen and supports firmer facial skin. It is especially popular for overall face tightening and refining the area around the eyes when paired with the appropriate small applicator.

AI-powered 360° skin analysis & diagnostics
Key clinical applications
Overview & clinical mechanism
The Alma IQ™ provides comprehensive diagnostic analysis by capturing high-resolution, multi-spectral images of the face under polarized, non-polarized, and UV light conditions. Its diagnostic software identifies subsurface skin conditions before they become visible to the eye. By measuring surface texture, pore dimensions, subsurface pigmentation, vascular redness, UV sun damage, and moisture balance, it generates an objective skin score to build targeted, custom treatment plans and track clinical results over time.
That scan is the difference between guessing at a concern and seeing it. Polarized light isolates surface texture and pores. Non-polarized imaging reads tone. UV capture reveals sun damage and porphyrins that do not yet show in the mirror. Together they give a 360° map of what is happening in the epidermis and deeper dermis, including early melasma, hidden redness, and moisture imbalance.
We use IQ as the starting point for the rest of the Alma suite. A baseline score tells us whether Hybrid, Harmony, Accent Prime, or a homecare plan is the right next step — and a follow-up scan after a series proves what changed. The capture itself takes seconds; the consultation that follows is where we translate those numbers into a sequence you can actually follow.
Frequently asked questions
It reveals both epidermal and deep dermal conditions, including UV damage, hidden pigmentation, fine lines, pore congestion, bacterial presence (porphyrins), vascular redness, and skin moisture balance.
Yes. Multi-spectral and UV imaging can reveal subsurface pigmentation, sun damage, and dark spots before they are fully visible in the mirror — so treatment plans can address root causes earlier, not only what shows on the surface.
The imaging process takes only 15 to 30 seconds. A detailed assessment review with your clinician typically takes 10 to 15 minutes.
Yes, it is 100% safe, non-invasive, and painless. It utilizes standard medical-grade diagnostic light and camera sensors suitable for all skin tones and conditions.
For the most accurate assessment, arrive with a freshly cleansed face free of makeup, heavy creams, or tinted sunscreen.
We recommend scanning prior to initiating any new aesthetic treatment series, followed by a reassessment every 3 to 6 months to objectively measure skin health improvements.

Multi-application laser, light & vascular platform
Key clinical applications
Overview & clinical mechanism
Alma Harmony™ is a versatile aesthetic workstation that houses multiple laser and light-based modules in a single device. Utilizing technologies such as ClearLift™ (non-ablative Q-Switched 1064 nm Nd:YAG) and Dye-VL (narrow-band pulsed light for targeted vascular and melanin absorption), Harmony treats a wide spectrum of indications across all skin types. It addresses pigmentation, vascular lesions, active acne, uneven tone, and collagen loss with minimal recovery time.
ClearLift™ is the collagen module: acoustic Q-switched energy reaches the dermis without peeling the surface, which is why it is often called a lunchtime facelift. Dye-VL is the color module: a narrow 500–600 nm band is absorbed by oxyhemoglobin in redness and by melanin in sun spots, so vessels and pigment can be treated with precision instead of a broad, aggressive light pass.
In practice that means one platform can handle rosacea, broken capillaries, age spots, melasma-prone tone, pore refinement, and gentle acne work without stacking downtime. Most protocols leave only brief flushing. Makeup can usually go back on the same day, and a short series spaced a few weeks apart is typically enough to show a cleaner, more even complexion.
Frequently asked questions
It is designed to treat vascular redness, rosacea, spider veins, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, enlarged pores, active acne breakouts, and structural skin laxity.
ClearLift™ is a non-ablative Q-Switched laser known as the “lunchtime facelift.” It delivers acoustic shockwaves into the deep dermis to stimulate collagen production without causing any peeling or redness on the skin’s surface.
Dye-VL uses targeted narrow-band light (500–600 nm) that is absorbed specifically by oxyhemoglobin (in red blood vessels) and melanin (in brown spots), breaking them down safely without damaging surrounding skin tissue.
Most Harmony protocols, including ClearLift™ and Dye-VL, require zero to minimal downtime. You may experience light flushing for a few hours, but you can immediately apply makeup and return to daily activities.
For pigmentation and vascular concerns, noticeable improvement typically appears in 1 to 3 sessions. Full skin revitalization protocols usually involve 3 to 5 treatments spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart.

Premium SHR™ laser hair reduction — a higher-tier workstation in price, build & performance
Key clinical applications
Overview & clinical mechanism
We invested in the Alma Soprano Titanium™ Special Edition — not a standard entry-level Soprano — because the difference shows in workstation cost, engineering, and overall treatment performance. Powered by Alma’s Super Hair Removal (SHR™) method, it uses an “in-motion” technique that gradually heats the dermis to disable hair follicles while protecting surrounding skin. ICE Plus™ contact cooling delivers continuous surface chilling for virtually painless sessions that are safe and effective across Fitzpatrick I–VI and tanned skin year-round.
Traditional hair lasers fire a high-energy pulse into a single spot, which is why they can sting and why darker or recently tanned skin is often turned away. Soprano Titanium Special Edition works differently: rapid, lower-energy pulses are painted across the area in motion, bringing the follicle to treatment temperature without a sudden thermal spike in the epidermis. ICE Plus™ keeps the surface cool the entire time.
From our clients’ experiences, results typically land around 95–97% hair reduction on average — lasting smoothness without claiming “permanent” clearance. Hair still grows in cycles, so a series of sessions is required to catch follicles in the active growth phase. Between visits you should shave, not wax or pluck, so the root remains intact for the laser to target.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Unlike traditional lasers that deliver high-energy pulses to a single point, Soprano Titanium™ Special Edition with SHR™ uses rapid, low-energy pulses with continuous motion and contact cooling, resulting in a gentle, warm sensation rather than sharp snaps.
Soprano Titanium Special Edition is a higher-tier Alma workstation — a meaningful step up in investment cost, machine capability, and overall performance versus a basic Soprano platform. We chose it specifically so clients get the premium SHR™ experience, not a lower-spec alternative.
Yes. The gradual heating mechanism bypasses high melanin concentrations in the epidermis, making it clinically proven as one of the safest laser hair removal systems for dark and tanned skin types.
Because hair grows in distinct stages (anagen, catagen, telogen), a series of 6 to 8+ sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart is recommended to target all active follicles during their growth phase.
We do not use the word “permanent.” From our clients’ experiences, results average about 95–97% hair reduction — lasting smoothness with far fewer, finer hairs, not a guarantee of absolute zero forever.
Shave the treatment area clean 24 hours prior to your visit. Avoid waxing, plucking, or threading for at least 4 weeks before treatment, as the follicle root must remain intact for the laser to target it.
None. You might notice mild perifollicular erythema (slight pinkness around hair follicles) for 1 to 2 hours post-session, but you can return to regular daily tasks immediately.
06
Trans-epidermal ultrasound hair restoration
Key clinical applications
Overview & clinical mechanism
Alma TED™ (TransEpidermal Delivery) is an ultrasound-based, non-invasive system designed to address hair thinning, shedding, and scalp health without needles, incisions, or blood draws. It combines acoustic sound waves with targeted air pressure (acoustic cavitation) to temporarily expand the skin’s lipid pathways, driving a specialized peptide- and growth-factor-rich topical serum deep into the scalp to nourish dormant follicles and improve local microcirculation.
Most restoration treatments either inject into the scalp or rely on topicals that sit on the surface. TED opens those pathways from the outside: acoustic waves and pneumatic pressure create a brief window in the outer barrier so clinical-grade peptides and growth factors reach the follicle instead of remaining in the hair shaft. There is no blood draw, no puncture, and no downtime beyond a warm, vibrating scalp sensation.
It is intended for early to moderate thinning, diffuse shedding, postpartum loss, and patients who want a needle-free option while follicles are still viable — not for completely bald areas. A typical course is three sessions a month apart, then maintenance. Shedding often calms within a few weeks; denser, healthier-looking growth is judged over three to six months.
Frequently asked questions
It uses acoustic sound waves and pneumatic air pressure to temporarily open micro-pathways in the scalp’s outer barrier, driving clinical-grade peptides, nutrients, and growth factors directly to the hair follicles.
No. The procedure is needle-free and painless. Most patients compare the experience to a warm, gentle, vibrating scalp massage.
Anyone experiencing early to moderate hair thinning, receding hairlines, postpartum hair shedding, or weakened hair density who has viable, active hair follicles. It is not intended for completely bald areas where follicles have scarred over.
The standard treatment protocol consists of 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months help sustain optimal follicle activity and hair density.
Many patients notice a visible reduction in hair shedding within 2 to 4 weeks, with thicker, denser, and healthier-looking hair growth typically becoming noticeable within 3 to 6 months.
